The Pretty Bad Boys Return

The Goddo 35TH Anniversary/Reunion Concert The Pretty Bad Boys Return was organized and produced by John Power with the support of Randy Charlton (Sound Academy), Tower/Clair Brother Productions, and with Classic Rock “Q-107FM”, along with an incredible crew of experienced and creatively driven individuals all working in sync.

The concert was filmed with multiple high definition cameras in front of a sold-out audience with the intention of using segments in the AAPM film production of IN GODDO WE TRU$T. The stage was designed by John Power, the live audio was tracked in the Clair Brothers ProTool suite, then mixed and produced at Phase One Studios by John Power, and engineered by Jeff Pellatier. Final concert editing was performed by Cam LeBlanc, John Power, with post services provided by Paul Moyer and Optix Digital Pictures. The opening segment of the concert film was produced and edited by Ben Bergmann and John Power.

EOne Television-Music Canada released the DVD-CD package online, and at HMV and other music retail outlets across Canada, with Super Channel licensing the concert film for broadcast. EOne also presented two theatrical screenings of The Pretty Bad Boys Return in Toronto, and again in Ottawa, a week prior of Goddo’s headline appearance at the RBC Ottawa Blues Festival, and a week before the film debuted on national television.

John produced, and mixed the audio for the film with the intention of giving you that “Live in Concert” experience, but you need to play it loud to get that true Goddo concert experience. The late, and renowned vocalist; Buzz Sherman of “Moxy” coined the term, The Power Mix which he used to describe Johns live concert mix.
